There are musicians who write beautiful lyrics. There are musicians who compose amazing scores. Then there are musicians who remind you what it was like to feel again.

I remember when everything I said to you was accepted with a gaze I have since forgotten. Something must’ve changed in me that I don’t know of. Isn’t that the worst kind? I’ve become a problem I can’t solve. So I’m sorry for not being smarter for you, for not being more affectionate for you, for not being there for you. I’m sorry for forgetting how to make you happy.

I’m sorry.

There are dreamers, and there are realists in the world.

You would think the dreamers would find the dreamers, and the realist would find the realists, but more often than not, the oposite is true.

You see the dreamers need the realists from flying to close to the sun. And the realists, well without the dreamers, they might not ever get off the ground.

When I’m bored…

Sometimes when I’m bored, I look up posts with the tag “inspiration” and read the quotes in a very airy voice and pretend that they actually say something of worth, then look out the window into the distance.

Among my favorites are ones that contain the keyword “dream,” “hope,” and the corniest of all, “love.”
